Jodie Hulden

Porto Verenese

Jodie Hulden is a fine-art photographer whose images usually focus on the wilderness, nature and the American West.  She is predominantly an artist who works in black and white. She has a degree in art from San Diego State University where she worked primarily in fiber and textile arts. She started her work in photography in the late 1970s. While she started in film, she now photographs completely in the digital format. Her work can be found at www.jodiehulden.com.

Jodie’s love of Italy began when she was a teenager and her dream was to someday travel there. She was also very interested in her maternal great-grandfather who immigrated to the United State in 1884 from Sicily. She has been able to go to Italy three times now and has loved making images of Italy showcasing its incredible beauty and rich culture.
